Hi, I'm Cassie—the founder, designer, and maker behind CassJean.

Long before I ever picked up a piece of leather, I wanted to be an architect. I was fascinated by thoughtful design, how things were built, and how every detail served a purpose. That passion led me to study drafting and work in engineering, where I learned to think through construction long before I ever made my first handbag.

Years later, while navigating some health challenges, I needed something creative to pour myself into. I bought a box of leather scraps, taught myself through countless hours of trial and error, and began making in my laundry room.

What started as a creative outlet slowly became something much bigger.

The turning point came when I designed the Icona. That's when I realized I wasn't just passionate about making leather handbags—I was passionate about designing leather handbags.

Today, every piece begins as an idea. From concept to the final stitch, every handbag is designed and meticulously handcrafted by me in my Texas workshop. I work with uncompromising standards for quality, authenticity, and innovation—combining traditional leather working techniques with a clean, modern aesthetic.

CassJean was built on transparency and purpose. I believe luxury isn't defined by a logo, but by thoughtful design, exceptional materials, and craftsmanship that stands the test of time. My goal is to create timeless leather goods that honor craftsmanship and individuality, empowering those who carry them to embrace their personal style with confidence.
